How to connect from Android

In This Tutorial We Will Show You How To Connect To Your VPS Using Remote Desktop Program (RDP) From Android.

If you are using other device/system please search our Knowledge Base to find appropriate tutorial for your system.

After completing payment and activating your VPS/Server you will receive an email. You need to take note of the following:

  • Your VPS/Server IP address (IP:port),
  • Username and Password.

First, we need to download official Microsoft Remote Desktop Program (RDP) from Google Play. 
Please open Google Play Apps marketplace on your Android system:

Search for official app named Microsoft Remote Desktop from Microsoft Corporation:

Click on Install button:

Microsoft Remote Desktop will ask for access. Click on Accept:

Wait until download will finish:

After successful installation you click on Open:

Accept Microsoft Remote Desktop app terms:

Here will be the list of your saved remote connections:

Click on the plus (+) sign:

Enter your VPS IP address (IP:port) in the fields below you received in your email. 
Click on Show additional options:

Here you can edit some default settings like playing sounds from your VPS or saving the username:

If you want to add user name, please enter your VPS username and password:

After saving your settings you should be presented with the list of your saved remote connections:

Enter your VPS username and password in the fields below you received in your email then click Connect:

Remote Desktop app will now initiate connection to your VPS:

You will be asked accept VPS certificate. 
Please check the box for Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer and click on Connect:

You should now be presented with a Windows Desktop – this is your VPS desktop:

If you don’t want to move your Windows Mouse Cursor you have ability to switch to Touch. 

Click on the top menu panel – left icon and new options should appear. Now you can select Touch:
